During this phase of life, the little ones are the center of attention wherever they go. Not for nothing: they wave “bye bye”, blow “kisses”, shake their heads to signal “no”, explode in laughter whenever someone does something to them…It’s a great phase, in fact, to motivate the baby to clap to the sound of the “Happy Birthday” song and to teach them to say number 1 with their index finger: after all, soon your baby will turn one!

Another common type of interaction during the ninth month is making it so the baby obeys certain commands, such as “give” when reaching for a toy or “come here” when they’re crawling or walking around the house. Do not be disappointed if your child doesn’t comply to your demands: if this happens, there’s probably something else that peaked their curiosity and interest at that moment.
