Up until now, your child’s smiles – we regret to inform you – were nothing more than an involuntary movement, a reflex that’s been happening since they were inside your uterus and even happens during sleep. However, at the one and a half month mark, the smile you’ll notice is, in fact, given to you. And, of course, for the father and/or other people the baby recognizes and likes.
Celebrate, clap your hands, smile back, stimulate! This is, in fact, one of those moments that makes life worthwhile. Spoiler alert: on the third month, your baby will begin laughing!
